Things to put on here.
This isn't my to-do list, honest, but my major non-work obsession has been bread dough. Sourdough, specifically, and I make a lot. I'm going to post my notes about what I understand about the process, what I have gotten done, etc.
After that, I'm going to write some about trying to self-learn discrete math. I'm someone who enjoys working with computers, but I never worked through a CS degree. The work I do now doesn't seem to relate strongly to computer science, but I'd like to take a stab at learning some of the fundamentals in a structured fashion.
Lastly, we've moved the entire family to the latest+greatest android phone, the t-mobile vibrant. The phone is great, but there are some issues with it (some of which are easily fixed, some of which are "oh my god how did that make it through". I'm going to talk about the contacts list in my next post, because I think that makes the phone much less useful than it should be.
I know that somehow these will have something to do with Dad+Daughter stuff, maybe something to do with Lego, but for now it's just what this new dad is doing.

Summary of Eva's first trip to Brazil
We've just come back from a 3 week trip to Brazil. I'll be posting some photos from flickr soon, and detailing some of the really frustrating lessons that we learned about traveling.

Cheers.
Preview:
- Delta is not a good reservations desk.
- Toll-free phone numbers in Brazil do not work everywhere
- Small towns in Brazil are charming and lovely, but it can be expensive trying to do anything by phone.
- GOL airlines, a brazilian airline, is terrible.
- Eva likes traveling by bus less than her mom, even when her mom is motion sick.
Cheers.
First post
So, like almost everyone else in the world, I've started a blog. I'm doing this to write down what I can about Eva, Claudia, and me.
